When you are sick, getting to an urgent care clinic or trying to make an appointment to visit your doctor can compound your misery and create anxiety as you try to get to your appointment on time.

Health Watch Clinic can eliminate these hassles by providing you with its new TELEMEDICINE service which enables you to discuss your health issues with a Health Watch provider from any web enabled device.  You can receive a diagnoses and request a prescription if you need one.  Or you can get advice as to which over the counter medications may relieve your symptoms.  Through TELEMEDICINE, Health Watch Clinic can treat the common cold, sore throat, vaginal itching/odor, birth control, medication adjustments, yeast infections, fever of known or unknown origin and other non life threatening medical issues.

If you believe you have life-threatening condition, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency as soon as possible.

Is Telemedicine covered by my insurance?

Yes!

You will need to provide the clinic with your active insurance information. We will directly bill your insurance carrier. If you are uninsured or prefer cash pay, you will need to provide the clinic a valid credit or debit card and we will charge your account. The cash pay fee is $40.00 .

Navigating Telemedicine from Your Device

Your device must have a built in camera and microphone.  Before starting your TELEMEDICINE appointment, please ensure that you are in a private and quiet area which has a good internet connection.

 

Step-by-Step Instructions

 1.  15 minutes prior to your TELEMEDICINE appointment, please visit healthwatchclinic.com and click on “PATIENT PORTAL”

2.  Login to your Patient Portal Account

3.  Click on the “TELEMEDICINE” button

4.  Please fill in your vital signs as accurately and thoroughly as possible

5.  After your vitals are filled in and submitted, you are “checked in”

6.  At this screen you are in the “waiting room” for a brief period

7.  Once the provider appears, your visit begins.  When your visit ends, please click the red phone icon to hang up.

Instructions for Mobile Devices

 

1. Search and download the Healow app. 
2. Select “Get Started” and search Health Watch Clinic by entering:
        * Provider name or the Health Watch Clinic code, which is HECGBA

3. review and accept the terms of the user agreement and then create a four digit pin number (which will be used for all future logins). 
4.  From your home screen, select the “APPOINTMENTS” section on the top of the circle.  You will see the name of your provider and your appointment time.  Tap on the provider’s name; then tap “START TELEVISIT”.
5. Please fill in your vital signs as accurately and completely as possible.  After doing this, you are “checked in” and you will be connected to your provider shortly.
 6. When your provider joins the appointment, you will be asked  to allow the use of your camera and microphone.  You must allow these by selecting “OK” in order for your visit to be successful.  Input your four digit pin you created earlier and you should be able to communicate with and see your provider.  When the session is over, click the red phone icon at the bottom to end your appointment.
